1. Aluminum electrolytic capacitor

A capacitor with thin oxide film as dielectric is made by winding water absorbent paper sandwiched with paste electrolyte between two aluminum foils. Because the oxide film has unidirectional conductivity, electrolytic capacitors have polarity.

2. Thin film capacitor

It is similar to that of paper capacitor. Good frequency characteristic and low dielectric loss. Can not be made into large capacity, poor heat resistance.

3. Ceramic capacitor

One of the electrodes of the ceramic capacitor is the mounting screw. Lead inductance is very small, the frequency characteristic is good, the dielectric loss is small, has the temperature compensation function. It can't be made into large capacity, and the capacity will change due to vibration, so it is suitable for high frequency bypass.

4. Monolith capacitor (multilayer ceramic capacitor)

A new type of capacitor with small volume, large capacity, high reliability and high temperature resistance is made by coating several ceramic thin film blanks with electrode paddle material, which is wound into an indivisible whole at one time after lamination, and then wrapped with resin.

5. Paper capacitor

It is usually made of two aluminum foil electrodes separated by capacitor paper with thickness of 0.008-0.012mm. The manufacturing process is simple, the price is cheap, and can get a large capacitance.
